🌈 Safety & Care Notes
Our slime is made for hands-on fun — not for eating.
- Suitable for children 6 years and up
- Adult supervision recommended, especially for younger players
- Please avoid contact with eyes, mouth and open cuts
- Wash hands before and after play
- Play on clean, dry surfaces only
Some slimes and activators contain borax, which is commonly used in craft and sensory products. When used as directed, it is safe for slime play. As with all craft materials, borax should not be ingested and should be handled with care by children under adult supervision.
Slime is a sensory product, so changes in texture, stretch and appearance can naturally occur over time due to play, temperature, humidity and storage. This is completely normal and part of the slime experience.
To avoid mess or damage, please keep slime away from carpets, soft furnishings and clothing, and always store it in its airtight container when not in use.
If any skin irritation occurs, stop playing and wash hands with soap and water.
Slime Care Tips
What do I need to do before playing with my slime?
Good slime play starts with clean hands.
- Wash and fully dry your hands before touching slime
- Play on a clean, flat surface.
- Have your activator ready before opening your slime so you can re-activate your slime if it becomes too sticky
Oils, dirt and sweat can change the texture of slime very quickly.
Slime Care Tips
Is there a technique to handling slime?
Slime responds best to confident, quick movements.
- Use fast squeezes and stretches rather than slow pulls
- Treat it like warm dough — gentle but decisive
- Avoid grabbing slime with your whole hand all at once
- If slime begins to cling, switch to quick squeezing motions
If your hands run warm or sweaty, firmer textures are easier to manage than very soft or advanced slimes.
Slime Care Tips
How long will my slime last?
Slime doesn't last forever — and that’s normal.
Depending on use and care, slime may last several weeks to a few months. Over time, it may dry, shrink or lose elasticity due to air exposure.
Follow our slime care tips to make your slime last as long as possible.
Slime Care Tips
How do I make sure my slime lasts for as long as possible?
How slime is stored matters just as much as how it’s played with.
- Keep slime sealed tightly when not in use
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Wash your hands before play
- Limit play sessions to 10–15 minutes at a time
This helps slow down drying and texture breakdown.
Slime Care Tips
I have tried rescuing my slime but nothing works!
Slime has likely reached the end of its life if it:
- Feels dry, brittle or tears easily
- Has excessive bead fallout
- Becomes watery or glue-like and no longer responds to activator
This happens to all slimes eventually.
Slime Rescue Tips
What is Activator?
Activator helps slime hold together and reduces stickiness.
- Always test your slime before playing. Melted slime will make a mess!
- If needed, add 1–2 drops of activator only
- Knead completely before deciding if more is required
- It is easier if you add and mix in the activator while the slime is still in its container
Too much activator can make slime stiff, so add slowly.
Slime Rescue Tips
Help! My Slime is too Sticky!
This is common in warm or humid conditions.
- Add tiny amounts of activator
- Knead thoroughly
- Stop as soon as stickiness disappears
Slime Rescue Tips
Help! My Slime is Hard & Rubbery!
This usually means it’s over-activated or cold.
Opaque slimes:
- Add a small amount of lotion and knead
- For extra softness, warm the sealed container in warm water and massage gently
Clear slimes:
- Leave sealed and undisturbed
- Place somewhere warm for a few days
- Avoid handling while it softens
Slime Rescue Tips
Help! My Slime has Shrunk!
Slime naturally loses air and moisture over time.
- Add a small splash of water
- Knead to restore stretch
- If sticky afterward, add a drop of activator
Slimes with clay, beads or instant snow may change faster than others.
Slime Rescue Tips
Help! My Clear Slime is Cloudy!
Clear slime naturally loses clarity with play. Skin oils, air and handling all contribute to a foggy appearance. This is cosmetic only and does not affect play.
It is also normal for clear slime to develop air bubbles after play. Let your slime sit in its container for a few days and wait for the air bubbles to rise to the surface.
Slime Rescue Tips
Help! The Charms and Beads are Falling Out!
A small amount of fallout is totally normal for crunchy slimes like floam or bingsu. These textures are packed with beads, so it’s expected that a few may escape during play.
If you’re noticing excessive fallout, it’s often a sign that the slime has been over-activated or at the end of its life.
How to fix it
- Warm the slime slightly by playing with it gently — heat from your hands can help soften the base.
- Knead slowly, focusing on folds rather than fast pulls.
- If it still feels stiff, mix in a tiny amount of clear slime or leave it in the sun to restore flexibility.
✨ Good to know: Crunchy slimes will always shed a little — that’s part of the sensory fun. The goal isn’t zero fallout, just a balanced texture that holds beads comfortably while still feeling satisfying to play with.
